Position Profile
It is the responsibility of the Kitchen Technician to consistently prepare and produce the Golden Grail Group Company Brands  Edibles catalog of products. This includes basic confectionary knowledge of sugar and chocolate theory, the ability to proficiently and precisely reproduce recipes, as well as safely operate and maintain basic kitchen equipment. Additional responsibilities include upholding local/state government requirements for sanitation and marijuana handling practices. For roughly 30 days this individual will train as a Kitchen Prep-Technician before moving into this role.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Successfully meet daily production goals.
Responsible for adhering to food industry standards and company policies, by ensuring proper protection is worn while in contact with the product.

• Other guidelines as instructed
Adhering to state compliance requirements concerning proper labeling and handling of Metrc-tracked product, according to OLCC regulations and the department SOP
Produce consistent products in a high-volume environment, while adhering to food safety and quality
Standards.
Maintains kitchen sanitation, including work areas, equipment, and utensils.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Qualifications
3+ years of professional kitchen experience
Valid Nevada Marijuana Agent Card – Production Category or ability to obtain prior to beginning work with the company
Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques and temperatures
Ability to respond well to questions and seek clarification as needed
Excellent communication skills that promote a positive and productive teamwork environment
Demonstrate a positive, friendly, and outgoing attitude as part of a team
Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse workgroup, manage stressful situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it

• Frequently stand for 6+ hours at a time.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, in multi-temperature environments ranging from 60F to 100F.
