Position Summary

Golden Grail Group is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team at our Airport Way headquarters. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining our master data sets while developing clear, actionable reports and visualizations that support decision-making across retail and distribution operations.

The ideal candidate has an exceptional eye for detail, strong analytical expertise, and hands-on experience with modern data analysis tools. This position works closely with product owners and business leaders across multiple departments to understand organizational goals, prioritize reporting needs, and translate complex data into clear, non-technical insights.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Reporting

  • Own and maintain master data sets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems

  • Review, test, and validate data; document findings and report issues or insights to appropriate stakeholders

  • Import, process, and analyze confidential data in compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements

  • Develop reports and dashboards for internal teams and leadership that highlight trends, risks, and areas for improvement

Business Intelligence & Data Support

  • Support the data warehouse by identifying, refining, and documenting reporting requirements

  • Participate in initiatives focused on data normalization, integrity, and process improvement

  • Analyze sales, inventory, and operational trends to generate actionable recommendations

  • Provide insights to support revenue growth and optimization of existing products and distribution channels

  • Translate complex data findings into clear, easy-to-understand language for non-technical audiences

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related analytical role

  • Strong proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI platforms)

  • Ability to understand business needs and clearly communicate insights without technical jargon

  • High-level written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information

  • Experience in retail, distribution, or highly regulated industries is strongly preferred

  • Cannabis industry experience is a plus but not required
